D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the United States. His fame was sparked by his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in more than 20 films such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Apart from his appearances on Road Trip he's been featured in more than 22 television programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed with at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. Within two years the cancer is now into Remission. The treatment, however, at such an early age had a severe effect on his body. It also slowed his development. Since he grew up in the poverty of his home, he longed to attain financial stability. He said in an interview that he mentioned that if I do not have financial stability or I find myself feeling out of control in the world, then I'm going to feel miserable. The man also talks about his youth to inspire him. The cruelty inflicted on him hurts him to the core. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel, as well as in reality. The director admits that they aren't able to put DJ in such characters. He'd like to have a child to allow him to devote much less of his time and more time to his baby.
